ORTHOPAEDIC AND SPINAL SERVICES

 

Peter Attenburrow, the Practice Principal, also offers a referral service to other veterinary practices in the south west based around his interest in orthopaedic and spinal conditions in dogs and cats.

St Davids Veterinary Hospital also therefore has dedicated staff and facilties to offer consultations in :

• the investigation and management of chronic lameness and joint disease
• the surgical management of cranial cruciate ligament injuries
• fracture repairs and management
• spinal surgery
• total hip replacements and more.....

This is a service we offer our own clients and on a referral only basis for clients of other practices.   We have a good relationship with many practices throughout the south west.

To arrange an orthopaedic referral from another practice there is a protocol for referral which is important for the welfare of your animal. Your Vet must make the initial assessment and if they feel referral is necessary and that we are the appropriate centre for your pet to be referred to, they will make the initial contact to make an appointment.
