Orthopaedic Referrals 

Peter Attenburrow offers a referral service to other veterinary practices in the south west based around his interest and expertise in orthopaedic and spinal conditions in dogs and cats.

St David's Veterinary Referrals have dedicated staff and facilties to offer consultations in:

  • lameness investigation
  • corrective ostoetomy
  • management of Cruciate disease
  • patella luxation
  • arthroscopy
  • fracture management
  • spinal surgery
  • joint replacements: Biomedtrix CFX, BFX.  Sirius Elbow
  • radiography reporting
  • and more...

This is a service we offer our own clients and on a referral only basis for clients of other practices.

To arrange an orthopaedic referral from another practice there is a protocol which is important for the welfare of your animal. Your vet must make the initial assessment and if they feel referral is necessary and that we are the appropriate centre for your pet to be referred to, they will make the initial contact to make an appointment.
